99 ml 320 trip computer dead,,,any ideas?

99 ml 320 trip computer dead,,,any ideas?
My 99 ml 320's trip computer is dead, the remote (for gardge doors) seems to be dead as well. Fuse? Water from Roof, (Sky Roof)? other???.

Did you check the fuse (not sure if you clarified that)?

Yes I have checked it and it was blown, I replaced itand it worked until the mode button was pushed on the trip computer again.

Has to be a short in the trip computer or the trip computers button. just wondering if this is common or an isolated problem. Might I have an undetected leak in the roof?

Any thoughts??

If you had a leak you would have a wet headliner or a wet floorboard. Autogunner.

I agree and there are no signs of water either.

I am going to put another fuse in and not touch the trip computer to see if it will stay running for a while then push the T.C buttons to try to narrow it down that accessory and not something else on that fuse.

I assume by the response, that this is not a common problem, not sure if that is good or bad.

Any input is welcome.
