I'm considering getting the same headlights... just want the new look, don't care about Bi-Xenons.. they are too expensive for a guy who's saving up to buy a <ahem> engagement ring
The more I look at the stock old-school headlights of the ML, the more I thnk my car has cataracts.
My gf think the best mod I could do for the ML is to get fender flares.. in her opinion the car looks too much like a minivan, and I kinda think so too (in certain angles)
So anyway, if any of you have bought headlights from this seller (he's selling these headlights ALL the time on ebay, as you may have noticed).. i'd like to know how your buyer experience was.
Thanks
riz

what is the difference between the halogen and bi-xenon projectors? Other than about $1K they look identical from the pictures.
Also, anybody able to address my earlier question about wheather or not adaptors are needed if doing this upgrade?
THanks!

I bought mine from Autoclass and they did not need any adaptors. Aparently they re-wire them internally.... which i prefer over an adaptor as it looks completely stock. I will say that if you add superwhites to the projectors you are wasting your time. I put some in and the lighting was worse than stock at least with the bulbs i had. When I put the non colored light bulbs back into the projector lights it was much better than the stock lights. $365 for new lights is not a bad deal. I have yet to see them for $300 new....

I bought my bi-xenon from him and he's totally legit. Mine were has described, factory MB parts with OEM stickers and parts number on them.
On my '01 320, no adapter needed, just plug and play and the whole installation took around 20 minutes.
Unless your ML has it already, you'll not be able to use the washer or auto-leveling features when doing a retrofit.
Now, it's true that the halogen headlight looks like the xenon one, but at night time when you turn them on, now that's a different story!
Hope this helps,

I'll have to dig up the receipt but it was around $1k shipped. I bought it directly from him while he was in business trip in CA. The bumper is part of the sport package that came with the car.
I don't know if the Halogen have this, but i kind of like the blueish of the xenon. Here is another picture:

Retrofit lights
That's a pretty good price--same lights at Performance Products are $479.

I put the bi-xenons on my '98. I like them a lot. You can also wire these so the halogens come on with the high beams for lots of light. Just to update the look the halogens are a good buy.

sky....if you would post pics that would be great. I would be interested to hear what your comments are regarding the projector halogens are.
FYI.....Perf Products also has the Bi-Xenons but they are 1460! Ouch, that is more than I care to pay to just update the headlights.
