SRS S,O.S. Help Please!
When trying to start the car it just clicked and instead of the battery icon on the dash I got the srs light.. I then tried to do the ecu reset using the gas pedal technique a few times but it didn’t work, my aftermarket radio comes on in position 1 then it starts blinking in and out. I tried charging the battery then the car started but after a few minutes the radio went out and abs, srs, esp, and bas lights all came on smh. When I turned the truck off it wouldn’t start again and now the instrument cluster only shows the battery icon and srs light.
I went out and purchased a $300 scanner but of course it wasn’t the srs scan wouldn’t work. Any suggestions, I’m really trying to avoid the dealership.
I disconnected the battery to see if the computer will remember things but I think that made it worse. Windows don’t work, locks don’t work, but inside lights still come on. Here are some of the codes I got. I’m lost in the sauce.
I took the battery to Autozone it was dead, put new battery in and srs light went off but battery light is still on. Everything seems to work, it’s actually driving better than before but I’m getting .3 voltage coming from instrument cluster/air conditioning fuse on passenger side fuse box. I’m trying to determine where battery drain is coming from and that’s all I found. I’m about to run an alternator test.
thank you so much for your advice on erasing codes.
