1999 ML320 going into limp mode
1999 ML320 drops power to limp mode when accelerator is pushed to 3/4 throttle. The power loss is always the 3 cylinders on the passenger side. Car runs fine after clearing codes until throttle is pushed to 3/4 throttle or above. Car immediately stalls out to the point of almost dying. Car cuts out and wont shift after this happens. Car idles rough after this occurs. As stated, car idles and runs fine up until throttle pushed hard. Code reader showed down stream O2 sensor bad on passenger side. Code reader showed middle cat on driver side bad. All 5 cats replaced as well as all 4 O2 sensors. Car problem still occurring. MAF sensor replaced. Camshaft position sensor changed. Crankshaft position sensor changed. All coil packs exchanged from 1 side to the other. All spark plug wires switched from 1 side to the other. With each part change and code clearing vehicle runs fine until accelerated hard, then power decline and rough idle. Any suggestions welcome.
