Old CLK Cab BLACK chrome fading to gold
2002 Clk 430, my upper windshield ext. chrome header went from blk to golden. Same with the trunk chrome cabriolet base and window trim, all originally black.
CA does not like chrome plating anymore, and I'm not to happy about prices when I can find a place. INSANE! Should I have these pieces just sanded,
baked powder - coated black, or just repaint in situ on the car?
How easily can these chrome pieces CAREFULLY be removed? Any tricks? My gal is OLD, needs care.... THX.
