Wind noise around doors

I drove a 2001 ML320 the other day and found it much quieter than our 99ML320. There are also more door seals that make the door shut better and keep wind rush down. Is there anyway the dealer could do this to our ML(preferably under warranty) to our 99.

wind noise

I have been battling with my dealership on my 99 ML430 since I bought it about wind noise. They've adjusted the doors to make them tighter and added all new door seals with the tubing inserted. They are now going to add new channel seals with tubing as well. I don't expect this to work either since the problem lies in the way the door lines up poorly with the body. I can get my fingers out passed the door seals from the inside, with the door shut. On a really windy day I get total separation of the seals from a good crosswind. To date they have been unwilling to retrofit the 2000 seals and just tell me they're doing what they can "but it's a 1999 model". That's reassuring.

I have heard of some guys getting the new seals installed under warranty. Big difference between the wind loise in my old 98 and the lack of it in my 02. However with the 02 more effort is needed to close the doors due to the seals
