Hi all. I'm making the jump over to this forum from the W211 to ask if anyone knows if there will be a diesel M anytime soon? TIA

From what I have been told by my dealer the 06 ML new version (W164) will have a diesel option.

Probably, especially seeing that all W163 ML's, including the diesel models (for the rest of the world), are produced at Tuscaloosa as it is -- meaning that selling diesel models would not mean having to make extensive dealings with factory output in Germany, SA, etc. -- just a redistribution of output from the AL plant.
