Tie Rod End!

I haven't read much about these failing. At 147000Km, I noticed the left side quite sloppy! Obviously, had been wearing for some time. Rattling noises in the front end.....which I thought were lose break pads .

Expecting a $300.00 tab on that one!

Anyone else? or is this not normal?

Regarding the ML430, it is a documented problem.

At that sort of mileage I would not consider a worn tie rod end a problem. Its just worn out and should not even be considered an issue
