Mercedes ml 270 cdi W163 2002 - Instrument cluster panel warning light
I have a Mercedes ml 270 cdi W163 2002 UK model,
The instrument cluster panel is showing an amber warning light, it is a picture of a "water fountain shooting up from a body/level of water" in a orange lit segment of a "wash /wiper window" etc.
I am assuming it is somekind of an overheating issue, but my temperature gauge does not indicate this, I have checked my water level but that also seems to be normal.
This light comes on about 5 minutes after i have started the car up, and can temororaley dissapear if I turn on and leave the heating full blast (as to take some of the heating away from the engine etc), but then the light comes back on again and stays on....... The reason I have not submitted a photo is because the amber light is so bright that camera does not pick up the details clearly.
This amber warning light is located on the instrument panel ,directly behind the hazzard warning lights button (the button which is situated on top of the steerung wheel colunm)
