Question is not calender time but miles. How many have you driven?? I have never had to add a drop to either the 98 ML320 I had nor my 02 ML500 or for that matter my 01 E320.

I believe the post to be in jest... But on a serious note, people have gotten used to never opening the hood. We try to assist by allowing a method of checking the oil level without getting out of the car, but with a 13,000 mile service interval, you are going to have to add oil at some point. Particularly with higher mileage. Burns me up that people expect to get their engine rebuilt for free because the low oil light came on and they added 2 quarts of oil 8,000 miles since thier last oil change. Don't want to add? Change it more often! Don't want to add or change it? Buy an electric car!
