HELP car charger for cell phone wont work

My wife and I have two different cell phone chargers that have worked in 4 other vehicles fine but neither work in the benz, in the ciggarette one or the aux passenger side one seems like the chargers are too small for the mercedez outlets, any suggestions? thanks

What do you mean too "small" will the charge light not come on? It could be a blown fuse.

The outlets on the benz seem bigger than the plugs for our chargers, they seem larger than any other vehicle we have.

Have not used my lighter as an accessory plug however some european vehicles have slightly larger lighter sockets and there are adapters that will allow std plugs to work in them. In fact some accessories that plug into the lighter socket come with an adapter sleeve that allows you to use the larger sockets. This may be your problem.
