I'm thinking Saturnstyl will have the answer to this. How many pesos would it cost for the conversion to the Command 2.0 Units I see in the newer mercedes models...? I just sat in front of one yesterday and I like the interface alot more. I have an 01 with just the regular MCS with a changer in the rear. No Nav though.... Thanks.

All the MCS needs is a DVD reader for the map.

Miroj, I'm talking about retrofitting the newer MCS Command Unit into an older ML.

I was under the impression that if you have the basic MCS head unit that all you would then need is the navigation processor.

I think by "MCS comand" he means "MCS2" which I am pretty sure all have navigation, although in his original post he talked about seeing a Comand 2.0 in a newer car (which I doubt) so I am not sure if he has actually seen an MCS2. And I don't think an MCS2 will physically fit into the dash of a W163 M-class.

w163 / w210
hi all
I been thinking of it too and i think it will fit if we switch the Low Range and the fog light switch somewhere else because i think the hole is the same for w163 and w164
