Dead battery

Hi,
I need help with finding a battery for my ML430. I tried going to my local parts store, but they do not stock our style of batteries. They said that our battery code group would help. I guess the ML +post is on the right hand side, when the other normal batteries are on the left hand side. I need an after market replacements if possible(optima, duralst?).

Find another parts store. Most have or can quickly get the correct battery for the E Class. They can easily look it up. However in terms of servicibility, warranty and quality the best bet is your dealer.

You can buy it from the dealer parts dep... It only cost me $120.

I would go with the dealer as well. The battery will fit exactly in your tray and connections will work with no modification. In my past experience (non MB), aftermarket batteries can be a pain to make fit correctly.
