ml430 need brakes 00' in andover mass area
hello,
live in the Andover area of mass and I have a 00 ml430. with 30k miles on it my brake icon is illuminated. therefore I need brakes and pads and rotors.
does anyone have ANY suggestions as the actions I should take. I really DO NOT want to take it to any of the dealers in the area.
would you suggest getting the parts (from where do you suggest) and then find a reputible and good mechanic to do the job.
or do you know of a mechanic in this area that would and COULD do the job?

Hatch & Sons in Wayland, on Rt 20 does great jobs with MB's. They are an independent MB dealer. Techs know their stuff, family run business.
I believe front brakes and rotors are $500-$550 for the entire job (parts and labor, all MB oem stuff). Dealer quoted us $745 for front pads and rotors, so you can see the savings.

I would suggest John and nicks in cambridge MA. VERY good place... they did my ml55. Ok ok its my dad's garage but I wouldnt worry too much about ML brake job. Really easy to do...
