Best price on ML filter

See the link below for the best price that I have found on the MANN HU718/5X fleece filter. This is the same filter that Mercedes sells @ approximately $20.00 each. At allgermanparts this filter is $11.75. I ordered four and with shipping it came to $54.49 or $13.62 per filter. Not too shabby!

received my filters today..identical to dealer filter and ,yes, if you order five or more they are $12.90 each because you don't have to pay for shipping......

Between this and the PepBoys $2.50 @ Mobil1 0W40 special...total for do-it-yourself oil change is $39.00....pretty reasonable and cheap insurance.....

Now if I could just get the required sixpack of Heineken on sale.....I'd really be set !!

STILL the best price on ML fleece oil filters

Just ordered four more of the MANN HU715/5X fleece oil filters from this site, but you have to call them for a quanity order at 1-888-462-7278

http://www.allgermanparts.com/

Price for four is $48.99...$12.25 each and that includes shipping. These are the identical filters the dealers sell at a fraction of the price. Great deal and last time I ordered these, I had them in three days..tell Russ you heard about him on this site...good folks !!

P.S. the Bosch charcoal cabin filter I ordered was only $21.59....

Sorry to revive this old thread...

This is the most relevant pre-existing thread. I ordered online from allgermanparts and everything went well (fast shipping). My question though is that they sent me the Mann air filters (C 30 195/2) and they are the same size / dimensions of the OEM filters (A 604 094 00 04). Anyway, being a noobie, I hope I can post pictures (since they're worth a 1000 words, huh?) Here is the main difference between the two... What gives? Did I get the wrong product? What side do the short pleats go (toward the front of the car or the rear)?

Also, does the OEM filter look like it needs replacing? I didn't think it was that bad. I think the dealer just wanted to squeeze some more $$ from me.

Thanks for any input...
