About to purchase an '02 ML 320

This afternoon my wife and I were looking at an '02 ML 320 with close to 14,000 miles priced at $30,000. It's well equipted incl. a nav system, is that a good deal or atleast an okay deal? There also an '02 ML 500 with 39,000 miles priced at $32,000. Which do you think would be a better deal? What kind of warranty is included on these cars with less than 50,000 miles?

Thanks in advance for any info or help anyone can give me.

'02 320

My brother just bought an '03 with 16k miles for $28k. The factory warranty runs for 4 years, 50k miles. That includes service every 10k.

I own the same model with almost 50k. If it has a full 100k warranty, that is an OK deal, but certainly not great. The warranty costs over $2k, and I would not buy that vehicle w/o it.

Good luck.

Wow that's a good deal. I don't need anything if the car is brought to a dealer right, in terms of getting the regular service done under warranty.

This ML doesnt come with an extended warranty but I'll definitely get one if we do buy it. A Mitsubishi dealership is the one selling it, is it adviceable that I bring it to a MB dealer for a pre-purchase inspection?

I like ML500 but I might consider the ML320 because of the low miles.

ml pre purchase

I would certainly get a pre purchase inspection from MB, if possible. MB can pull up the service record and quote you the extended warranty. Get to know the service advisor and that will help you understand what you are getting into. Good luck.
