Question Thoughts on lack of starting....

Wondering if anyone has had this happen. Two seperate times one that I have witnessed, my wife has turned the key to start the truck and nothing. After a couple of tries it starts. It was like 4 months between incidents. The switch in the column, or some other common electrical gremlin?

Had a similar problem. It became worse with time. Dealer said they lubed the flywheel. At the time I did not believe that would fix it, but it certainly did and I have not had a problem since. It did act like a bad switch or starter. My SA told me that the lack of lube caused the starter to shut off as if it had started.
