My 2001 ML320 is due for a brake job. This is the first at 49k miles. Are the rotors turnable or must they be replaced as the ones on my prior vehicle were (Volvo 850 T-5)? Is there a service manual available for less than MB want's for the CD set?

Sorry if this has been covered before. I didn't find anything while searching. I bought the ML for a parts hauler for my Porsche and as a kid hauler as well. It's been so enjoyable that I'm picking up a '01 SLK320 in two weeks as my commuter car.

MB on all their vehicles says NOT to turn the rotors. Replace them. Some guys here have turned them but if I were you I would not do so. New rotors are inexpensive.
