what does this button do?
my friend just got a ml500...every option navi/ entertainment....
but it did not come with a manual. and there is this button on the dash that looks like a window down button but it has a 3 on it. what does it do?

It's the rear three quarter window flip-out switch.It was orginally for models equipped with third row seats so that the third row passengers would have ventilation, hence the 3. If you press the top portion of the button, the window will flip out into the vent position. If you press the bottom, it will close. The button on the left side of the series of buttons on the dash is for the left window, the button on the right side is for the right side window.
