I see them selling locally in the mid to high teens. $13-19k, depending on mileage and condition. There's even one for sell here with a DVD system installed, 22" rims, and 71k miles for $9000. I think you could ask for more than that, considering what I've seen others ask. Check craigslist.org in the SF bay area to see what I'm talking about.

I got my 99 ML430 two weeks ago. It is pristine! It has bose, 6cd, with 40k miles, black opal on dark grey but no starmark, chrome side tubes and front tubes.
I paid $17,500 plus tax on a local dealership, $19,000 cash out the door. The dealership was selling it for their friend who barely used the car (an older lady) so the car was pristine.
