nice! but I wonder about the off-road ability compared to the w163 as that was built on a truck frame I believe and the w164 is uni-body...

The Jeep Grand Cherokee is unibody, and it's "Rubicon-rated."

Oh, ok. Just reading from reviews saying that the w163 was a bit better at taking off-roading than the w164. But nonetheless, i'm sure it'll handle fine

Off-roading with the W164

When the "Off-Road" package comes out, with super air suspension, low range and locking diffs, it should put the W163 to shame. Don't know what wheels/tires that will come with, but hopefully something more suitable than 18/19s and high-performance highway tires.
