The picture in the brochure doesn't look too bad, but your pics tell a different story...yuck! I only find them useful to climbing on to wash the roof (or access skis, etc if you use that equipment). They also tend to get pantlegs dirty on entry/exit. The ML doens't sit high enough to warrant using them.

Can you scan and post the brochure that you have?

Thanks.

Best Regards.

The ones in that second pic look pretty cool. It's the overall package that counts.

Re: Side step bar

I don't care for them or the OEM front bumper guard. The steps don't seem necessary except, as ffejalink says, to reach the roof, but I just stand on the open door sill to do that. These add-ons clutter up a fairly clean design.

Can someone mesure the distance of the pic?

I'm thinking in C55, CLK55, S55 Side Skirts.

Best Regards.

You want to put the side skirts of an other model?? Don't you think it will look ugly?

Your first post photos are of side step bars, which are totally different than skirts.

Those are called side step bars. Useful if you have small kids getting in and out and if you need to access the roof rails. For me, I consider them a must.

BTW, those last 3 pics you posted are those that I took at the ML Road Rally in Arcadia, CA. :v

I agree, I have small kids and the step up is too high for them, so when I get my ML350 end of June, I will be in the market for these side steps.
So, how much are they? If from dealer, how much did you pay for? If after market, where and how much? How hard to install myself?
Thanks, excited to get the SUV!

List from the dealer is $795, plus installation. Should be a fairly easy installation, but I haven't seen exactly how they mount. I doubt if there are any aftermarket ones out yet.
