What's the deal with the shift lever? That just seems kind of akward for those of us that shift a lot. Really needs the the two speed transfer case. The old ML's were not half bad at off roading.

As I understand it, the Off Road Pro option will include not only the two-speed transfer case, but locking diffs and maybe even automtically detachable sway bars for more wheel articulation.
