W164 ML Euro navigation retrofit .... thanks to Steve for parts
This item is very neat. It fits quickly but needs a specially modified Star Diagnose to be activated in the cluster.
This unit can accept TV and also has the function of a rear screen operation with TV and DVD playing whilst driving (in the rear seat only)

ML 320 CDI
I presume from looking at the photos that you started off with no navigation system and retroffited command. I f so how easy was it. From your pictures it looks very simple.

I'm new to the 06' ML350, but love the car. My 06' ML350 does not
have the NAV option but does have the command as shown in the
"Final Result" picture above. Were there some versions of the ML350
shipped with just the radio unit (first picture above). Seems like its
being called "Euro" retrofit -- trying to understand why its called the
Euro if its being sold in the models today -- I took delivery of mine on
May 31 from the dealer lot.

I was rather keen to promote the Euro version facelift as the cars are barely on sale in Australia and these photos can go into archive.
