I've done it twice while on the road and about twice just getting settled. I'm about 6'2" and have hit the ignition "key" with my knee. It doesn't take much of a tap to shut the thing off. I guess I should have the seat back but when I have rear seat passengers I pull it forward a little.

You coast to the side of the road, then put it in park and start it up again. One time when I did this the screen said something to the effect that I had an electrical problem and I needed to get to the nearest MB dealer immediately. I guess because it detected no juice coming from the alternator. I pulled back off the road. shut it off for a few seconds, started it up and it was fine.
I don't have the keyless go, I've got the key like thing. I'm not sure if I hit it in or turned it.
