Wipers
I was out running errands yesterday in the pouring rain and my wipers decided to stop working. They began by simply swiping half the windshield, stopping, then returning to their rest position, then eventually stopped working altogether. Has anyone else run into this problem? Luckily I wasn't too far from home so I ran back and switched cars, but if that weren't an option I would've been SOL.

Have not experienced this and have not read of or seen others with a similar problem that I can remember. My ML500 has been flawless since delivery last Sept. Could be the switch or wiper motor. Why be concerned, just go to the dealer and get it fixed.

I heard people with a similar problem...but I guess their wipers just stopped working. I just realized my side view mirror does not work when set to reverse...I have the Comfort Package and it's supposed to do that to help you park...oh well, another electrical problem in MB...the 4th in 3 months.

This is the only problem mine has had. My last ML was mostly flawless as well. My C has been great! I just wanted to share an issue to see if others had experienced it. Not having wipes in the pouring rain (which happens frequently around here) is a little bit of a bummer.
Ironically I took it in for service this morning and I received a Hyundai Azera for a service loaner. I was quite shocked by this, but then found out they are not loaning any of the C's (my dealer's standard loaner car) due to an airbag recall. Hmmm...
