ML 320 CDI built date finally......
Dec 5th is the build date. Will be delivered January 10-15th. This will be the
2nd car that the dealer has been allocated.
Car is built as follows-
Iridium Silver
Black Premium Leather Package
Premium III
Lighting Package
AMG Sport Package
Heating Package
Voice Control
Multicontour Seat Package
Trailer Hitch
CD Changer
Running Boards
Dual Screen Rear DVD System
2nd car that the dealer has been allocated.

yes, its just wrong that you have to buy package 3 for almost 10K just to buy the airmatic suspension, which is a less than $1000 option on the R class. The option package are just so overpriced for what you get.

I have pretty much the same options on ours, with the exception of colors. Good to see I'm not the only one who went overboard on options. I actually question my sanity more on the$4500 AMG package than the Premium III package. My only rationale is that I promised the wife I wouldn't modify it in any way, so I figured the AMG package would make it look aggressive enough to curb the desire (it's for her, but I'll be driving it on family outings).
My dealer says ours has been ready since August but is still waiting to ship. He said M-B won't release it until after 10/15, which is today. Hopefully it will be in our hands in the next couple of weeks.

I think that the AMG package is a bit over priced myself, but like you said it makes the car look more agressive. So I went for it. Post pics when you get it. I will be doing the same. What colors did you go with?
