With the Command turned on I can hear a sound like from an electric motor from the dvd drive or fan (I've read posts from a couple of years ago saying the Commands had two fans - don't know if they still do). If I eject the Nav DVD, the sound is still there. No disc in the other drive. The only thing that make the sound cease is turning the Command off. It's loud enough that from the normal driver's position I can hear it during lower volume music passages.

Anyone else with Nav experience this?

i know what you mean, i have the same noise. i got use to the noise, the radio is always on so it doesnt brother me. my friend at a after market shop told me is a fan that cools the whole command console.


p.s. the ml-350 is one smart car...maybe too smart
