Question DRL's ?

Do the Daytime Running Lights (DRL's) come activated on a new US delivered ML? Or, do I have to ask the dealer to turn them on?

I believe you turn them on or off with the on board computer.

Acknowledged. Can the owner do this, or does it have to be done by the dealer's service department? There's a lot of stuff in that on board computer that is not accessible to the owner.

The lighting menu on a 2007 is found by using the steering wheel controls, easily accessed by the driver at any time.

On the 2006 also. And in most cases the vehicle leaves the factory with the DRL's turned off except for Canadian ML's.
