Anyone have experience w/Sprint Booster?

Hey guys, I've been following some threads about a product called "Sprint Booster". As I understand it, it re-maps the input from the accelerator pedal and sends the computer a more vigerous throttle command for the amount of pressure applied. No increase in HP or TQ, but just quicker inputs to the powerband in the torque curve.

Several guys have installed them on everything from C230's to E55's. The C guys love it because it makes their cars seem more powerful. The E55 guys are less enamored because it makes their already touchy traction problems more delicate.

As I understand it's relativly easy to install, and can be a DIY. Simple plug and play gadget. Easy to remove and dealer flash proof.

I'm thinking it might be a nice leasing man's ECU remapping with out the permanance. Plus with our ML's all wheel drive, and higher torque curve, traction should not be a problem with us.

I don't know of anyone who has installed one on a ML vehicle yet. Any thoughts or opinions? I'm looking for suggestions or input.

Here's a link to a website that gives a basic outline.

I actually called the distributor in Greece today and he said he'll ship the units direct to the USA. He was supposed to send me an email with the estimated shipping costs but it hasn't arrived yet. We had a little trouble with communication so that might be a problem. The cost on the S.B. itself is $290 US plus shipping. If shipping is reasonable, I'll order one immediatly.
