2006 ML500 vs ML350
Hey guys!
Considering an ML for me/the wifey with a baby coming soon. I've driven a 350 as a loaner while the E55 was in the shop. I was pretty impressed. It was quiet, smooth, and comfortable. It also seemed to average about 20-21mpg in mixed driving.
My question is...I've got my eye on an 06 ML500 (can't afford a new 550), and I wondered how this vehicle fares against the 350 as far as mx, and gas consumption goes. Does it guzzle alot more? I know this is a silly question coming from an E55 owner, but I'm still curious!

While I don't have direct experience, I asked my friend and she said she gets 17-19mpg during mixed metro driving (in her ML500).
It seems that most of the 8 cylinder suv's hover around 16-20 mpg (with mixed driving), unless it is a Range Rover then it is more like 12 -15 mpg.
