Problems with new ML

I am looking at getting a new ML, either 500 or 63 AMG. Are there any major known problems with this car, or are they pretty reliable.

Would appreciate any input. Thanks.

Why would you get a 63 your sig says you already own one. Anyway if your looking at 08's the 500 is no more it's now the 550 motor.

Thanks for your reply. Yes you are right, I do currently own one but it has been in the shop a lot since we bought it with an unsolveable stalling problem, (see my post under ML 63 AMG). We are at the point where we need to decide whether it is an isolated case in this particular car or whether there is a problem with the current model.

We don't want to keep the current car, although we love it, but our best and probably cheapest out is to go back to the dealer and trade this one in on a new one.

Hence my question. If you have heard of any problems, would love to know. We need to make the decision in the next 48 hours.

Thanks.

Thanks for the offer, but you said miles, so you are in a different part of the world to us. Also, we will lose too much on the ML 63 if we have to trade it, the only way to minimise the money we will lose is to go back to our dealer.
Thanks anyway.
