2006 grand prix GXP
ml350 mods

hello. i currently own a 2006 pontiac grand prix gxp, and am thinking about getting a small suv. i was looking at the ml350, and was wondering what modifications are available for it. im not looking for anything major, just some kn filters and exhaust work. any links would be great. thanks!!

well i was thinking of that, but the ml is currently owned by a family member and its coming off the lease. so id get a little deal on it. i wasnt thinking of any major mods just something to make it sound nice.

I gotcha....

Dont know too much about what mufflers or intakes (if any) they offer for these ML's. For mufflers, you may want to try Remus or SuperSprint, otherwise see if Kleeman, Brabus, or Lorinser make custom exhaust for W164's....If so, they will be on the pricier side.

Matt....thanks for posting your link. I saw a system that would fit my 06 ML500. Any idea of horsepower gains from your catback system? Also, do you have any pics of how those tips look on the back of the W164?

Oh...didn't see all that at the bottom the first time! Looks like about a 5hp increase throughout most of the rpm range? This might make for a good first mod!

How much for the 5 hp gain? I tell you this, 5 hp will not be noticeable power. But if all you want is sound, go for it.
