White ML550 with P2 Option - Any Pictures?
Hi everyone,
Anyone have a picture of a white ML550 with P2 option? I wanted to see how the white look with the AMG package. Also, according to the Mercedes' brochure, the P2 option comes with front & rear skid plates. How does the skid plates look with the AMG bumpers?
Trying to decide between Artic White or Obsidian Black.
I believe Papaya have a white ML550 with P2.

Finally convinced my wife to go with the ML. I would like to have your (or anyone) opinion on our situation, if you don't mind.
She currently leasing a 2005 GX470 with 16k on the odometer. The options are: ML, Nav, DVD & 3rd row. Her lease will end on 1/31/08. The buyout price on the truck is $31,500. I was planning to buy the truck this month and trade it in for a ML in December or January. The trade-in value is $38,500(per kbb & edmunds). I know the dealer will not offer $38k for trade-in. I think they would offer around $35k.
1) Any opinion on this transaction, good or bad idea?
2) Should I just turn in the Lexus and buy the ML? (less hassle)
My Lexus dealer have several '04 & '05 GX 470 (CPO). They are listed around $40k to $46k with mileage between 36k to 40k.
I agreed with you with the obsidian black ML550. The dealers that I looking at does not have any obsidian black, just black. I had 2 black ML ('00 430 & '02 500), I couldn't stand the swirl & scratch marks on the truck. I zainoed the truck 3 times per year just to keep it shine.

I'm not very familar with trading cars etc. But I wouldn't suggest that you buy the car. I'm pretty sure you can have the MB dealer buy the car directly for whatever the buyout is and give you the difference between that and the negotiated trade in value (if that makes sense) to put down towards the ML or however you guys decide.
This way you won't pay taxes on the purchase of the GX etc. and it may just be less work for you.
I'm sure there's some others on the board that can/will be much greater help.
