MB Tex vs. Leather

I'm taking delivery the first week in Dec. of an 08 320CDI, I'm coming out of a 06 ML500 with leather. How does the MB Tex perform- heat, cold, wear and tear?
Can someone give me some tips on breaking in the CDI?
Thanks from Kansas.

MB tex is great! Looks great now and for years to come. Its a little hard, but the seats are well contoured so its def. not uncomfortable.

With heated seats, they get real toasty, real fast!

You will not be disappointed....

MB Tex

I'm on my 6th MB now and recently took delivery of an '08 ML 350. This is the first time I've gone with MB Tex over leather and I'm very happy. Looks great, comfortable and I think it will hold up for quite awhile.

We just went from MB-Tex on the C-Class to Leather on my partner's ML and they both look and feel exactly the same. The only difference is the smell. And, now that we have leather, it smells so good in there! :-)

MB Tex vs. Leather

Thanks for the reassurance on the comfort and durability of MBTex. Any suggestions on approaches to "breaking in" the diesel? Thanks!

We have had our 08 CDI for about 3 months now with the MB Tex and I actually like it better than leather. Of course with the heated seat package we had no choice, but we really do like it!
