Dumb question.....

Anybody able to remove the headrest from their 06 and up ML? I got my sheepskin seat covers, but can't seem to remove the headrest. I push the tab in and they go up and down, but won't come completely out even with quite a bit of force? Am I missing something? Thanks!

haven't tried a newer mercedes but the old ones had a button on the back of the seat in the backrest that you pushed to release the headrest. it is hidden behind the leather down from one of the headrest rods?

Well, there is a tab at the base of the headrest that I can push in to allow the headrest to click up and down, but at the fully extended position it won't release it to come completely out of the seat.

I think I'm going to return the sheepskin seat covers anyway. They are too narrow for me (only cover the middle portion I guess due to the seat airbag..)
