Updated software NAV memory GONE!!!
Hey all,
I took my wife's ML 350 in to the MB dealer cuz the Nav Memory was GONE! All our saved addresses just disappeared. MB did a software update and now I can't recall anything prior. My question...Is all the memory completely gone or can I find it somewhere in the system? How could it be completely wiped...isn't there a backup memory...or am I SOL?

I had the exact same problem. About 6 months new, I went to the navigation, and all the info I had painfully entered was gone!! Called the dealer, and they said they had never heard of it. Had to RE ENTER EVERYTHING again. Had not thought about it since, but will take it in and have them go through it this week. If they find anything will let you know. Also, on really cold days (-10), the LCD screen stays like a dim purple for about 20 minutes.
