ML350 - When does it get the new engine?

Normally I'd guess for 2009, but this engine in the SLK is designed to rev higher than normal so it might not be the best thing for the ML. Really not sure after reading what they did to the 3.5L for the SLK. Damn good question though.

At that power level, if the engine got the typical V6 fuel economy, it would make for a tough case against buying the 550!
My 500 has 302hp and that is plenty for the vehicle. Although, another 100 horses wouldn't necessarily hurt anything.....

I was just thinking that....the new ML350 will be the perfect compromise for those considering the 550. Heck, MB may surprise us and put in the ML450! Going to wait it out before pulling the trigger....the introduction of the new SLK is soon and the new C350 is getting this motor as well, so I would assume MY2009 for this change.

Oh the hybrid, yes that will arrive sometime next year as a 2010 model. Should be a pretty hot seller. At first I read that and thought 335hp, V8, ML450.
