Rear Seats fold flat?
Tried to fold my rear seats in my 08 350 and was surprised that they would not fold flat. Am I missing something? It doesn't appear possible that they can fold flat as the seat cushions and seat back and against each other when the seat is folded about 75 percent of the way.
Seems odd. Hoping there is a trick I am missing.

Fold bottom forward to contact drivers seat first. Then fold seatback down. Obviously retract headrest first. May have to move drivers/passsengers seat forward first--they will not be able to go completely rearward when rear seats folded. (As per owners manual)

1) Release handle
2) Seat cushion
a) Pull release handle (between upper and lower parts of the seats)
b) Fold the seat cushion forward.
3) Release handle
4) Seat backrest
a) Make sure the rear seat head restraints
are in the lowermost position.
b) Pull release handle (at the top of upper part). A red indicator will be visible and the seat backrest is released.
c) Fold the seat backrest forward.
!! When the rear bench seat is folded forward, the front seats cannot be moved to the rearmost position. Otherwise you could damage the front seats and the rear bench seat.
