Weird

As I was coming out of a u-turn today, the engine loss virtually all power and the yellow warning triangle on the instrument panel started flashing. I took my foot of the pedal and slowly started to accelerate again, the car "caught on" and off I went. WEIRD.

It didn't happen again. Has this ever happen to anyone?

Sounds like the steering angle sensor sent some bad data to the stability control system.

Sounds like the ESP was doing it's job... Maybe there was something slick - oil or ice etc. on the road??

I just realized you're in Ft. Lauderdale. Scratch the ice, it had to be oil. That happened to me a lot when I lived there. Worse after a slight rain shower. Lots of junkers drip oil at the intersections when stopped at a light.
