2001 ML320
2008 ML350 Price? Transmission problems?
Am considering buying, not leasing, a 2008 ML 350. How much should I pay for it in NV?

Have the 2006 ML350 7-speed transmission problems (jerkiness, surging and lunging) of the vehicle when driving slow or stopping been resolved by MB?

No transmission problems on my '08 CDI. The seven speed is as smooth as silk.

08 ML350 with 4000 miles - smooth shifting, no jerks or lunging.

got mine in february. no problems. In ny they are selling for about 4k below invoice

do you mind PM me the dealer (also the salesperson)?
There are only 2 MB dealer in Portland, both same owner. Hence they try stick to MSRP!!
even with shipping cost, 4K below invoice will be GREAT saving for me.

They've had a couple years to sort out those issues. During the first year or two of any of the new 6+ speed automatics there tend to be complaints about shift performance. With pretty much every manufacturer.

Once I have the M included in TrueDelta's surveys I'll be able to provide more definitive information. But I do cover the GL, and the transmission hasn't been a common problem there.
