ML550 vs RRS
I am debating with the two. Already eliminated the beamer and cayenne as I don't like them. This decision is much harder. What have your experiences been with either of the two vehicles? Which do you think is better. Obviously the ML owns the RRS S/C off the line, but the RRS has a great exterior, very distinct styling which wont be missed. Also, I have driven an 06 ML350 before, what is your experience with the ML550 against it. I still have not driven one so do not know how the ride is improved with the new engine.

I haven't heard of many issues with the W164, but I have heard of many issues with the RRS.
A member just recently lemoned his RRS because the suspension would keep making odd unnecessary noises.

I would get an 09 ML550 over the RRS anyday. The RRS looks nice as you said, but even the SC'd model is rather slow. Next, its based on the LR3, so it doesn't exactly have a real upscale feel to the interior. Besides the seats, its kind of low rent imho. Nothing like the full size RR.
Also, there is no comparison power wise between the ML350 and ML550. The ML550 is much faster. The ride between the two should be similar, whether they either have the standard or air suspension.

is the RR sport really a CHEAPER version of the Range rover? i thought it was the other way around?!
Also im pretty much thinking along the same lines
to replace my 2002 x5 (not now, but soonish)
its either an ML or RRS....
but we'll see how gas prices go in the UK, lol
otherwise maybe a SLK or CLK
