2009 ML350 4Matic, 2009 ML63 AMG & GLK photos
I already order a 2009 ML500 4Matic(Mercedes-Benz US model ML550 4Matic), does anyone know entry market date of 2009 ML series? my dealer said may be I can get my ML500 at the end of this year, in china, the standard price of ML500 4matic is RMB1,098,000(about US$156,857) in China market, it is so expensive than US market, also delivery time usually around 4-5 months.

Mandatory insurance about US$136/year etc.
so if I want to drive my new 2009 ML500 4matic, I have to pay all of above. that mean total price is US$161,581.

however, lower category car prices in the US and the rest of the world are more or less near each other...say...a us corolla vs. an asian corolla a us crv vs. a row crv, but as you get up in the car hierarchy..say bmw and mercedes, porsche...or lexus....the price disparity between us cars and row cars becomes more, and usually doubles.

I do not think that is a fair price, that price does not include 10% purchase tax(about US$13,407), also you need to pay around US$4,285/year for Conventional insurance, Transporter using tax US$69/year, Road maintenance fee is 189US$/year, Registration fees about US$45, Traffic Accident Liability

its what we people outside of the US pay for these cars.
earlier today my local mb dealer quoted me US$85 for 1 wiper blade for the ML. what a ripp off!!!!!

because my wife pregnant 32 weeks and she feel uncomfortable with too many visitor in exhibition hall, so I just took pictures with 2009 ML350, 2009 ML63 AMG and a few photo of Mercedes-Benz brand new series GLK, then we leave there, do u want to see other photos?

thanks DFW01E55, In China buy a Luxury car's cost much more expensive than US, for example: the price of Bugatti veyron 16 just need may be 1.5 million us$ in EU or US, but the price in China is about 3.57 millions US$, the interest is today is first day of 2008 BEIJING INTERNATIONAL AUTOMOTIVE EXHIBITION, just open 2 hours, this Bugatti veyron 16 sold out. Chinese average income still much low than US now, but the luxury car's price always expensive than US, Fortunately, if you want to buy a normal car or economy car, the price just like other country or may more cheaper.

wow!!! i can't imagine paying OVER US$100,000 for a car!!! how can you guys afford to pay those sums??! i make good money, but nothing to afford the likes of those $amounts!!! 
how's the resale on the ML?? if you bought it for $150,000, how much can u sell it for in 3yrs???

how do we afford them? i guess we work hard? usually in my country, its either youre a politician or a businessman to afford one.

btw...just an insight...."leasing a car" is nearly impossible here and unheard of (except for large fleet companies), so you either have to pay in cash or thru bank financing.....ML downpayment would be around US$25k, and monthly payments of around US$2500 for 3 years.
