cluster mesaege: SOS contract ends soon

cluster mesaege: SOS contract ends soon
for the past few days everytime i start the car, a message pops up on the cluster display: "SOS Contract Ends Soon", so what happens if i dont renew, will it continue to display the message or will it just stop?
im not in the US with a US version ML, so obviously.....SOS/Teleaid doesnt work here.

now it says "SOS Contract Ends Soon"
so i presume, later...it will display "SOS Contract has ended"??????
well i cant renew and i have no use for Teleaid etc..... they dont cover the Republic of the Philippines.....their US satellites dont cover half way around the globe.

out of curiousity, could you use the ML 350 GPS Navigation in the RP ? Some guys from Hong Kong said they could. I've been in Batanga, Manila and Olongapo a few years ago.
Right in the US, I don't use the TeleAid ($25/monthly)

i cannot use GPS/Nav here. bmw has started offering a garmin based gps on its 3series here 2 weeks ago, but no idrive gps for now, prolly theyre the first to offer vehicle gps for the Philippines.
