![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Has anyone replaced the mirror in the visor of a W164? The little lady raised the window with the visor leaning out and the mirror cracked...otherwise the visor seems fine and the dealership charges >$200 for a new visor.
Thanks...
Thanks...

Do not believe the mirror is sold by itself. You must buy the visor and mirror as an assembly. The price you mentioned does not sound too bad. Seems reasonable to me.

MSRP is indeed $200. You can get it for 15-20% less than that from Steve at Duval Motorcars in Gainesville, FL - an MBUSA franchised dealer. Let me know if you need contact information; and the mirror is not sold separately.

A little late but here's my $.02
I love my ML and take very good care of it. Hand wash it at least once a week and vacuum and clean the interior almost daily.
I enjoy the fine finishes of the automobile and pride myself with ownership.
That being said, I would find it hard to spend $200 on a new sun visor when all I needed was a new mirror. If you have the time and patience I would measure the mirror and go to the local glass shop to have a new one cut. They can also sell you or probably give you a small dollop of mastic (glue) to adhere it on to or in place of the cracked one. I'm sure you will be done for $10 bucks.![drive](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif)
I mean... how often does your honey look in the mirror? Just keep telling her how beautiful she is.
