if they come back with bad fuel bullcrap and void out the warranty.. tell them you'll have it tested yourself, and you want a sample of that contaiminated fuel as verification.

don't let them kid you, show them the receipt of where you got that last fill-up.... because if it's bad fuel indeed, you can go after that service station.

They can't actually VOID the warranty, they can just refuse to cover the resulting work under the warranty. However, should the fuel be the issue my insurance company told me that they would cover the work. Boy do I love USAA!!!

I agree with roughyear. Make sure you get some of the supposed bad fuel and get it tested. They should not void your warranty over this. Your insurance will cover your repair. Make sure you let your selling diesel station know that they sold you garbage.

Have any of you folks heard of a gas station paying back a customer whose car was damaged by bad gas?
