ML500 pros and cons?
I'm cross shopping a 2007 ML500 vs a 2006 E350.
What are some pros and cons about the ML? I'm guessing fuel economy is a big one here...
Is the ML500 a reliable car? I just read one guys post where he bought a VW because he was sick of all the repair work with his ML....
I'd appreciate any help.

the first year W164's had some issues as is typical for the first MY...that being said the ML's are reliable, i have an 08 ML350 that's had little to no problems in the one year that i've had it, these things will last you a LONG time, i still have a 98 ML320 with 175k+ miles and it still runs well.

if you can live with the mpg of the ML500, pull the trigger - just make sure it's a clean car with a good history. ive had my '07 ml500 for two years - still running strong and faster than you think.

2010 ML550, 2010 E350 4M, 1966 Corvette Convt C2
Have an early 06 ML500. Took delivery Sept 2005. This ML has been flawless since day one with no shop visits between scheduled services. Mileage around town is about 14 and on the road 20 to 21.
