weird problem with my ml500 not starting
so i've haven't really had much problems with my 07 ml500 but recently its developed this weird problem
on 2 occasions over the past month the car would not crank over.
i had to wait 5 minutes before the car could start.
both times there was more than 1/2 a tank of gas, and the car was used to drive an errand with no more than 15 mins on the expressway with a 50mph limit.
the first time it happened, it was at 10am, the second time it was 10:20am.
anyone else have this weird starting issue?

If it will not crank its certainly not gas or such but most likely the key recognition or perhaps but unlikely the starter. If it does crank and does not start thats a whole different issue. Go to the dealer and have it taken care of before you get stuck where you do not want to be or when you are in a hurry to get somewhere.

ML320CDI 2008 all options inc air suspension
I assume that when it does start it turns over normally ..meaning a good battery. If thats the case it could be either key issues or something such as a lock out ''park''switch. Either way your dealer will have to hook it up to the diagnostics and then the warranty will kick in. Let us know what it turns out to be.
