Curious to know if anyone has information as to when the next "face lift" on the ML will be happening. I'm thinking about purchasing a ML and wouldn't want to have it change body styles on me next year. Thanks!

I can say it will be after the 2010 model year. We have ran a few '10 Hybrids through the plant last week and this week. The 166 is still a far ways off, they are expanding the body shop for the new 166 body but its just started on the expansion.

Look for it 7 to 8 years from the first year and on the current ML that would be 2013 or 2014. Historically thats the time frame an existing model is generally replaced at MB. Face lifts occcurr every so oftem but are very minor and in my estimation meaningless.

The hybrid's look the same as the current model..correct ????? Any difference's that you could see ? We are currently running(trials)of the 2010 RX 350's down our line at the Toyota plant in Cambridge..lf you have seen the new Toyota Venza crossover(Detriot car show)..its basically the same...l could see my next M-Class purchase being a hybrid....

Looks the same, some new colors are coming but other than that no big changes. Ran another one through the assembly line today.

Hi,
Since you work at Mercedes assembly line, wonder if you knew whether I could change the bumper of my 2006 ML350 to a facelifted 2011 ML by just simply changing the front light and the front bumper?
Thank you.
