Question Bluetooth Question

Hey guys,

Is there a way to tone down the beep when dialing a phone number through Comand? The beep on our E350 is soft and muted. Also, as soon as you start dialing in the E, the stero goes silent. The beep on the ML is LOUD!!! And, it doesn't lower the stereo so it screams on top of the music.

I have looked everywhere, both in the Phone and System menus and didn't find anything. I tried turning tone confirmations off in the system menu but that didn't do the trick.

Any thoughts?

j.

The 'beep' of each button as you dial is directly related to the volume of the phone system. As you are talking to someone through bluetooth, if you turn down the volume control, you will notice after your conversation is over that when you dial your next number the 'beep' is softer.

You are incorrect. The volume controls the ring volume when a call comes in, but not the beep when you press the buttons.

Just to be sure, I tried on both our ML and our E and the beep is unafacted by changing the volume during a call.
